my previous Whynter unit ran out of space after a recent spree and it was about time to fully upgrade my storage space. This is the biggest full size fridge I could find. Since I had a good experience (7 years to date) with my last unit, I decided that I would be well served with a large version. It arrived on a truck and I was ready with a slot in my kitchen. Installation was tight due to the size, but it fit perfectly and looked spectacular sitting flush with the cabinets. It's massive. I'm about 40% full at the moment and this will likely keep me open for about 3 more years of collecting at a saner pace. Easy to use and configure for bottle size. The temperature consistency is the what I like best about it. At most 3 degrees fluctuation top to bottom. It isn't completely silent, but it's whisper quiet. I'm good wit this.
I have only had the fridge for a month, but I am very happy with it. It is currently in the living room as a freestanding cabinet. The plan is to move it to the kitchen during an upcoming kitchen reno and integrate it with the other cabinets. It was a bit of a learning curve to figure out how you could get 166 bottles in there, or even close to that. The trick seems to be that you alternate the bottles "head to toe" on the shelves. This gets 9 bottles per shelf, so 144 bottles. Maybe if you have a bunch of demi or split bottles (375ml) maybe you could get to 166, maybe.
